When we’re young, we don’t often think about doing much to maintain our skin’s health and young appearance. It’s usually once we’re older and we start to notice all the differences in our skin. Then we panic and begin to use anti-aging products and worry about keeping our skin looking young.
Well, no matter your age it’s important to keep your skin healthy, young and vibrant! So today we are sharing 3 things you should be doing to keep your skin looking younger. So whether you’re 55 or 25, these tips are for you!
1. Water is KEY. Drink lots of water. Always stay hydrated!
Water keeps your body hydrated. Dehydration makes your skin look more dry and wrinkled. Being hydrated also has extra benefits such as helps flush out toxins from your body. And if you replace sodas and other drinks containing sugar with water, that will help you lose a little extra weight!
2. Pat
Do NOT rub! Rubbing your skin with a towel is sure to create wrinkles in no time. Instead, use a soft cotton towel and pat your face dry. This will reduce any chances of your skin being pulled in different directions.
3. Sun Protection
To avoid those pesky pigmentation spots, please invest in a good sunscreen. Even if you are staying indoors for most part of the day and going out into the sun for a couple of hours, do apply sunscreen to protect your skin.
